Interior painting
in Utah.
A single room, a full-home repaint, or the finishing work on a larger remodel. Uncle B Painting helps Utah homeowners and property managers define the painting scope with Bryan, based in Provo.

A repaint that fits
your project.
Define the surfaces first. A clear scope makes it easier to compare a single room, a partial repaint and a complete home.
Rooms & whole-home repaints
Refresh one space or coordinate a full interior. Identify the rooms, hallways and ceilings you want included, along with the surfaces that should stay as they are.
Trim, doors & color plans
Choose a single color or a one-, two- or three-tone plan. Discuss walls, ceilings, trim and doors separately so your bid matches the finish you have in mind.
Remodels & managed properties
For a renovation, rental turn or occupied building, share the access schedule, unit count, other trades and bid deadline. Bryan can review the painting alongside the larger remodel.
Preparation belongs
in the conversation.
Before an interior repaint, review the existing wall finish, damaged areas, furniture, flooring and access. Include patching, sanding, priming and protection requirements in the conversation with Bryan; the agreed bid defines which preparation and repairs are included. Let him know if the home will be occupied and which rooms need to remain usable.
From an idea to an exact quote
Start with the online estimate, then send your project details to Bryan. He reviews the location and scope with you and arranges an on-site visit for an exact quote. Confirm colors, preparation, included surfaces and timing before work starts.
What does interior
painting cost?
The instant estimator uses your square footage and tone count. These are Uncle B Painting’s base planning rates, not a Utah market average or a final job bid.
| Color plan | Rate per sq ft | 200 sq ft example |
|---|---|---|
| One tone | $3.00 | $600 |
| Two tones | $3.30 | $660 |
| Three tones | $3.65 | $730 |
Enter the square footage or area to be painted as your starting point. A home’s listed floor area and its paintable wall area can differ, so tell Bryan how you measured. The online result is a preliminary planning estimate; he checks the surfaces and measurements on site.
Height is collected for Bryan’s information and does not change the online calculation. Ceilings above 8 feet require a custom on-site quote. The final price will change based on ceiling height; the base estimate excludes that adjustment. For an exterior project, include wall or eave height and access details for review.
Your estimate carries into the inquiry so Bryan can see your starting point. Add the surfaces and any conditions he should inspect.
Interior painting questions
Can I repaint only part of my home?
Yes. Uncle B Painting takes on full, partial and custom repaints. List the specific rooms and surfaces in your inquiry so Bryan can define that scope.
What does one, two or three tones mean?
Tone count is the number of paint colors in your plan. For example, walls in one color with separate trim and ceiling colors can be a three-tone plan. Confirm the exact surfaces and colors with Bryan.
Does ceiling height change the online estimate?
The calculator records height for Bryan and does not add a height multiplier. Ceilings above 8 feet require a custom on-site quote; the final price changes based on height, and that adjustment is excluded from the base estimate.
How do I choose an interior color?
Try the furnished-room preview on Choose your color, then check a real paint sample in your room’s light. Screen previews are ideas rather than an exact match to a finished wall.
